Husband and wife team, Melissa & Aaron Wood, are the faces behind the company melimba.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting/Drawing at Brigham Young University in 2006. During college Aaron and Melissa got married and after graduating, they moved to Texas and have been living there since.  Melissa's hobbies include sleeping, crafting with her kids, perfecting the chocolate chip cookie, napping, reading self-help books, drawing, and catching up on sleep (yes, sleep it really is one of her best talents).

 

For the past several years she has done mostly freelance design work with brides, new parents, graduates, families... Designing and illustrating life's most celebrated and happy occasions. She has also worked as a licensed textile designer for Riley Blake Fabrics, and KOKKA fabrics.

Aaron has a legit day job, but through his internet savvy and ability to learn quickly, he keeps up the technical and business side of melimba. He is happiest when he is outdoors, can create delicious meals with random & seemingly disgusting ingredients, loves to play disc golf, and knows a little bit about EVERYthing. 

 

Aaron, Melissa, and their four children enjoy jumping on the trampoline, walking the aisles of Costco, playing games, discovering new music, eating caramel popcorn, watching movies, going on family adventures... But most of all, they just like to hang out together.

Aaron and Melissa teamed up in 2015 & became business partners. Together, they created a website where they have filled their online store with digital delights & paper goods.
